To educate, nurture, and enrich the cultural climate of the community by
Providing an outlet for local singers to grow and develop in the vocal arts through rehearsal with other area singers, vocal technique instruction, and music theory education.
Advancing public education in, and appreciation of, choral music through live choral performances and community involvement.
Challenging singers with diverse choral repertoire and engaging audiences with innovative concert programming.
Repertoire Highlights
We have performed pieces with a wide range of accompaniments, including: string quartet, a cappella, piano, organ, jazz ensembles, full brass ensemble, and percussionists.
We've performed pieces in English, Latin, German, Hebrew, French, Russian, Brazillian, Ndebele and Yoruba.
Some favorite large-scale masterworks include: John Rutter's Gloria and Daniel Pinkham's Christmas Cantata.
Our diverse genre of chorale literature has included everything from J.S. Bach and Gabriel Fauré to more contemporary composers including Dale Trumbore and Zanaida Robles.
